Manchester City have been handed a major boost as Kevin De Bruyne has been included in their squad for the Club World Cup.

De Bruyne has been a remarkably consistent presence for City in recent seasons. Last term, he provided a remarkable 31 assists in 49 games, as well as 10 goals. His return would be a significant boost.
City will enter the Club World Cup at the semi-final stage, along with Fluminense. The other clubs involved are as follows: Al-Ittihad, Auckland City, Leon, Al Ahly, and Urawa Red Diamonds.
He will hope to make his return in the heat of Saudi Arabia, and then add to the City squad in their Premier League title push. The club are currently six points behind leaders Arsenal.
