The midfielder shared a dressing room with the Portugal legend for a season at Old Trafford before heading back to the Serie A ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The 31-year-old will be able to resume training from January 2025 before formally returning to football in March. Ahead of his comeback on the pitch, the French star recently made his movie debut as he featured in a film named 4 Zeros.
It remains to be seen if the ex-Red Devils star will be heading to the Middle East next year. For now, Al-Nassr and Ronaldo will be back in action on Tuesday as they take on Al-Taawound in a Saudi Kings Cup of Champions round of 16 clash.
